The United States Forest Service recently awarded MRM Construction Services a $515,000 contract for the removal and replacement of the Silver Creek Bridge, located on National Forest System Road 42B in the Coronado National Forest near the Arizona / New Mexico border.


This design-build project will include the new design of a permanent bridge structure with new bridge approaches and roadway realignment. MRM Construction Services will provide the Forest Service with a bridge concept memorandum, hydraulic report, geotechnical report & survey, design calculations and construction specifications and plans for the design phase of work. MRM Construction Services will remove the existing structure and will perform all site work, and concrete foundations and walls to receive the new voided slab bridge deck. Additional features of the bridge structure will include safety and guard rail on the bridge as well as the roadway approaches.
